Project Overview

MSD is designing and constructing an anaerobic digestion facility at the Little Miami Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in the City neighborhoods of Columbia-Tusculum/East End. This facility will process waste solids from the Little Miami, Polk Run, and Sycamore Creek treatment plants on the east side of Hamilton County. The solids are currently being landfilled.

 

Project Status

• Construction started the week of December 16, 2024, and will run through early 2028.
• Jacobs Project Management Company is the contractor. Jacobs was awarded this progressive design-build project in December 2022
• Design kicked off in January 2023; 100% design is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2025.
