Diana Christy is the Director of MSD and has served in this position since 2019.


Diana has worked for the City of Cincinnati since 2011. Prior to becoming Director, she served as MSD’s Chief Legal Counsel through the City's Law Department from 2015-2018 primarily focusing on MSD’s Consent Decree and the Sewer Backup (SBU) program. Diana previously worked for the City's Office of Environment and Sustainability (OES) managing their brownfields program.


Prior to City service, she practiced environmental law at Frost Brown Todd LLC in its Cincinnati office for about 10 years.


Diana holds a bachelor's degree in environmental chemistry from the University of North Carolina and a law degree from the Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
