Ambassador Program

 

 

JOIN THE PROGRAM

The Lick Run Greenway Ambassador Program is a group of volunteers committed to helping keep the Greenway clean, safe, welcoming, and a resource for outdoor and environmental education. The program may also use paid co-ops/interns and youth employees.

 

The Ambassador Program is open to anyone at least 16 years of age who completes an application (see below). Ambassadors will receive a branded t-shirt and appropriate training, equipment and supplies.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN AMBASSADOR

Ambassadors can focus on one or more responsibilities, including:

  • Adopt-A-Spot Partner: Individuals, groups, or businesses that choose to adopt a block of the Lick Run Greenway through Keep Cincinnati Beautiful’s Adopt-A-Spot program. Adopters will be provided with equipment and supplies from Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, and their name will be displayed on Adopt-A-Spot signage in the Greenway.
  • Youth Workforce: Responsible for greeting and welcoming visitors, identifying areas of the Greenway that need repair or attention, weeding, and picking up litter.
  • Educational Partner: Non-profit organizations who wish to conduct educational programming at the Lick Run Greenway. This can include tours, lectures, or guided activities. This is open to individuals, schools, universities, organizations, scouting groups, and faith-based groups.
